I. Hailongdun  <World Cultural Heritage>

 

      

      

         

 

      Hailongdun, also known as Longyandun, is located in the east of Yilongyan Mountain, Yulong Village, Gaoping Town, Huichuan District, Guizhou Province. This tun is on the top of mountains, and adjacent to mausoleums on four edges with streams surrounding it on both sides. As long as it is guarded by a man, it cannot be broken through by anyone. On the back of the mountain, there is only a path that can be climbed. The ancestors of Yang Yinglong, Tusi of Bozhou, used the topography to build an earth city and three pieces of Yuecheng on the Ceding with width of about 5 kilometers; built buildings, warehouses and water dungeons in the middle; in front of the dun, there are nine passes, including Tiezhu, Tiezhu, Feilong, Feifeng, Chaotian and Wan'an. There are guard walls connected with each other, which stretch for more than ten miles along the mountain. In 1982, it was selected as a cultural relic protection unit of Guizhou Province. In 2001, it was selected as the national key cultural relic protection unit. On July 4, 2015, it was successfully listed in the World Heritage List.

 

   II. Buddha Light Rock <World Natural Heritage>

 

     

 

      Buddha Light Rock Scenic Area (formerly known as Wuzhufeng Scenic Area) is located in Yuanhou Town, Chishui City, Guizhou Province, 44 km away from the downtown and 8 km from Yuanhou Red Army’s Ferry crossing in the southeast. It is a World Natural Heritage Site. The scenic spot is located in the area of sharp subsidence from Guizhou Plateau to Sichuan Basin at the northern foot of Dalou Mountain. It is featured by deep valley and steep slope, and vertical and horizontal streams and rivers. Its cutting depth is between 500 and 1300 meters, and most mountains are over 1200 meters with different height of the valleys. The outcropped strata are all Jurassic and Cretaceous fluvial-lacustrine red sedimentary rocks. Under the combined effects of physical and biochemical factors such as differential weathering, gravity collapse and wind and rain infiltration, this special landform forms form numerous exotic Danxia landforms such as pagoda, castle, needle, column, rod, square hill and peak forest. Danyan cliffs, exotic peaks, strange stones, rock outlines and cavities are ubiquitous and numerous, and the cliffs show the red color. As for Danxia landform, it is the most typical scenic spot with the largest area and the most complete outcrop in China.

 

  III. Chishui Shizhangdong Grand Falls

    Shizhangdong Grand Falls (also known as Chishui Falls) are located in the upper reaches of Fengxi River in the south of Chishui City, Guizhou Province and more than 30 kilometers away from the downtown. Situated in the national AAAA scenic area of Chishui Falls, they are a key component of Chishui National Scenic Spot.

    Shizhangdong Grand Falls are comparable to Huangguoshu Waterfalls. They are 76 meters high and 80 meters wide. They are the largest waterfall landscape in Danxia Landform in China and one of the best waterfall spectacles in China.

    Waterfalls pour down from the cliff walls, like horses galloping with spectacular momentum. A few miles away, they like thunder, while they show the diffuse of water mist within hundreds of meters. In the sun, they present a colorful rainbow. Occasionally, we can also see the wonderful "Buddha halo" which moves along with pedestrians, and show one ring for one person. It is really beautiful. Around the waterfalls, the trees are lush and green all the year round.

    Nearby there are Zhongdong Waterfall, Panlong Waterfalls, Lianghekou Waterfall, Jifeiya Waterfall, Xiangxi Lake, Stalagmite Peak, Ganoderma lucidum rock, 100 mu of camellia forest and a large area of azalea forest and Alsophila forest. In the scenic area, there are winding roads, dense shade and sunshine, as well as Waterfall Terrace, Langqin Bay, Feihong Bridge, Yiwu Road, Sansheng Temple, Xianwu Platform and Dark Waterfall Stone, thus forming a natural waterfall park.

 

 

  IV. Suiyang Shuanghe Karst Cave<the longest cave in Asia>

 

        

       

    Shuanghe Karst Cave National Geopark, located in Suiyang County, Zunyi City, covers an area of 318.6 square kilometers. With Shuanghe Karst Cave Group in the hot spring area as the center, it includes numerous mineral hot springs with abundant water and high quality, and well-preserved Kuankuoshui national primitive ecological forest garden as well as profound historical culture and simple folk customs in northern Guizhou. Suiyang, an ancient cultural city with a long history and outstanding people, has made considerable social and economic achievements since the new century, thus providing good conditions for the establishment of the geological park. The establishment of Shuanghe Karst Cave National Geopark will bring vigorous vitality to the social and economic development of the region.

    In March 2018, Shuanghe Karst Cave in Suiyang County, Zunyi County, Guizhou Province, has the currently detected length of 238 km, making it the "longest cave in Asia".

 

  V. Tucheng Ancient Town

 

       

 

    Tucheng Ancient Town, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, is located in the west of Xishui County, and in the "Golden Triangle" of the three national scenic spots of Simianshan, Chongqing, Chishui, Guizhou Province, and Fubao, Sichuan Province. With convenient land transportation, it may be connected with the Yangtze River through the channel of Chishui River. In Yuanding 6th Year of Western Han Dynasty more than 2,000 years ago, Pingyi County was set up here. Zizhou was set up in the Daguan 3rd year of Northern Song Dynasty, leading two counties i.e. Renhuai and Chengliu (now Renhuai City, Chishui City and Xishui County). At the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty, the local people found a large number of Tucheng walls when they reconstructed their houses. Since then, it has been called Tucheng.

 

 

  VI. Meitan <China Tea Sea>

 

     

     

    China Tea Sea, also known as Yongxing Tea Sea, is located in Yongxing Town and Fuxing Town, Meitan County. It is located on both sides of 326 National Highway with convenient transportation. It is the largest tea garden in China. It is about 25 kilometers long and 4 kilometers wide, with a total area of 60,000 mu (the core area of about 10,000 mu). In 1986, Comrade Hu Jintao, then Secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, called it "ten thousand mu tea sea" when he visited Meitan. It won the title of "Top 10 charming tourist attractions in Guizhou" in 2010.

  Formerly, it was the Central Experimental Tea Farm of the Republic of China Government in 1939. It was the first national tea research and production institution in modern Chinese history. In the 1950s, China Tea Sea became a state-owned Meitan Tea Farm directly under the Guizhou Agricultural Department. With property right transfer completed in December 2010, it is now under the jurisdiction of the People's Government of Meitan County. In 2013, the tea sea had a tea plantation area of more than 7300 mu in the core area with annual production of tea leaves (bulk tea) of up to 17.155 million jin. For the tea plantation area put into operation, the annual output value per mu reaches RMB 6,110 and the annual total output value reaches RMB 44.633 million.

  The hills here have ups and downs. They are full of green trees and fresh air. They are accompanied by strong and refreshing tea fragrance, allowing you to be like in a green ocean and giving it great value of tourism development. The "China Tea Sea" International Leisure Tourism Resort project has been listed as the key project of the 12th Five-Year Plan of Meitan County and that of Zunyi City. On September 29, 2013, it was successfully held as the main venue of the 2nd Zunyi Tourism Industry Development Conference. At present, it is endeavoring to promote the construction of such projects as five-star hotels, tourist reception centers, sea view building and a street with local customs, as well as supporting facilities.

 

 

  VII. Chishui <Bamboo Sea>

 

        

 

      Chishui Bamboo Sea national Forest Park is located more than 40 kilometers to the east of Chishui City, Guizhou Province and on the side to Chitong Expressway. The park is dominated by the magnificent "bamboo sea" scenery. There are 170,000 mu of Nan Bamboo in the park, all over the mountains. Once you board the park "Sea View Tower" and look out from the railings, you will find boundless green plains, paving mountains and covering mountains.

 

 

   VIII. Meitan <Tian Hu>

 

     

   

     "The First Pot in the World" is located in Tianhu Park, Meitan County, Zunyi, the hometown of famous Chinese tea. It has a volume of 28,360.23 cubic meters, a floor area of more than 5,000 square meters, a height of 73.8 meters and a maximum diameter of 24 meters. It is the largest physical model of teapot in the world. It was awarded the largest physical model by Shanghai China Records Headquarters on May 18, 2006 (the largest in China). It is also known as another landmark in Zunyi. 

 

    IX. Yuqing <Feilong Lake>

 

     

 

   Feilong Lake is a man-made lake formed after the impounding of Goupitan Hydropower Plant in 2009. It covers a total area of nearly 100 square kilometers. The Lake area is rich in vegetation and has obvious karst topographic and geomorphological characteristics, resulting in a unique natural scenery of "the gorge in the lake, the lake in the gorge, and lake connected with the gorge". It is a tourist attraction that has been built in Yuqing with main contents of leisure and vacation, business meetings, exploration and adventure, self-driving tourism and aquatic entertainment in recent years. At present, there are national 4A-level scenic spots - Feilongzhai scenic spot and Langshuilang scenic spot. According to the requirements of "promoting Feilongzhai and creating Langshuiwan", the two scenic spots along Feilonghu Lake will form head-to-tail and north-to-south correspondence through the aquatic golden tourism belt. "Carnival in Feilongzhai at night, playing in Langshuiwan in the day" will make it a popular destination for tourists.
